Join Architect Angus Skene as he explores the fascinating rise, fall and rise of this late Victorian neighbourhood and learn why Jane Jacobs chose to call this neighbourhood home.
Angus Skene bio
Angus Skene is a licensed architect, an member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the principal of Angus Skene Architect. He is also a television producer, best known for creating and hosting the series Structures on Toronto's Rogers Television. His most recent series, Building Faith chronicles the history of religious architecture on OMNI TV and Vision TV. In addition to his architectural and broadcast work, Angus has written about architecture and history for the Toronto Star, among other publications and is an instructor at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. An offshoot of Structures, Angus also runs tours of Toronto city neighbourhoods and visits the work of Frank Lloyd Wright in Buffalo New York (www.architours.wordpress.com).
