I have been living in Parkdale at my son’s residence for the past 10 months minding my granddaughter who is now 3. During this time I have had the opportunity to explore Parkdale, read about its history and have participated in its services and life.
The walk will travel along Queen Street. to Sorauren, and will last approximately 90 minutes. We will, in Jane’s words, “look closely, and with as little previous expectation as is possible, at the most ordinary scenes and events, and attempt to see what they mean and whether any threads of principle emerge among them”. I will leave you to continue along to the antique shops or to grab a bite to eat or to further your own walk up Roncesvalles. Rain or shine.
